Paul Shaffer, Assemblyman Billy Jones, and Gail Simmons were honored at the inaugural “Key to the Consulate” Award ceremony. This award recognizes professional achievements and contributions to Canada-U.S. relations.
In commending the contributions of the three recipients, Consul General Tom Clark said, "In difficult times, we rely on the support of our friends. I view our three recipients tonight as beacons of hope in a dark world, working to strengthen relations between our countries and embodying our shared democratic values."
